Overview
Imperial College offers over 200 meeting rooms, lecture theatres
and classrooms, all of which are well located in central London.
Capacities range from smaller rooms of up to 45 delegates to large
lecture theatres of up to 750. Foyer and concourse areas can
also provide space for exhibitions and refreshments.
Sophisticated presentation standards are available in the form
of the College's Conference Link service, which can
provide audio-visual production
technicians
to manage or support any technical aspect of your event.
South Kensington Campus
Imperial's South Kensington campus offers a wide range of lecture
theatres, with capacities ranging from 49 to 345, equipped with all
the latest technology. The largest is The Great Hall, an impressive
multi-purpose space providing seating for up to 750 theatre style,
250 banqueting style
or 415 sq. metres
of open
space. Retractable seating provides a variety of flat floor and tiered
seating options for conferences and exhibitions.
Meetings, breakout
sessions or workshops can be accommodated in over 250 modern or traditional
style seminar rooms. The majority
of these count on natural daylight and full blackout facilities
with capacities ranging from 12 to 100.
In addition, more than 18 concourse areas and halls are available
for exhibitions and poster displays, and for
events requiring even more space, the 2,000 sqm Queen's Lawn,
at the very heart of the campus, is the perfect
site for
a marquee. This can either
be used as a stand-alone option, or as an extension to our main dining and
exhibition areas.
Charing Cross Campus
Imperial's Charing Cross campus offers year round conference
facilities including two fully equipped, air-conditioned lecture
theatres (capacity
320
and 200 respectively)
together with adjacent seminar rooms and concourse areas suitable
for exhibitions, catering and registration. |
